Project Paintball

Hello Future Supporter,

Colorado Cobras, aka Cobra Kai, a Colorado-based competitive Paintball team, will commence their second season in 2010. The team currently has 13 registered members comprising of various ages and backgrounds. The goal of the team is to promote the sport of Paintball and work to improve our communities through stronger mentors

Our season spans a period of eight months beginning in March and ending in October. During the season, team members practice at least four times a month and participate in various tournaments and competitions. Our team represents sponsors in various competitions but primarily competes in the Blitz regional series in Dacono, Co. Blitz is the premier paintball field in Colorado and prides itself in supporting the most competitive teams in the state.

In our first season, in 2009, the Cobras participated in the Blitz regional series and placed 2nd in two of the 5-man events and placed 3rd for the overall series. During the 2009 season, the Cobras were sponsored by Blitz Paintball, RazaLife, Contract Killer Clothing, and Where Fathers Grow. In addition to the tournaments, the team has also organized and implemented Project Paintball. Project Paintball mentors troubled and at risk youth in and around the Denver area through the sport of paintball. Thanks to sponsorship assistance and local support, the Colorado Cobras are able to impact local area teens from our surrounding communities.

We made a name for ourselves last season and are looking to win the 2010 Division II Blitz Series next year. We are poised to win the series but will pride ourselves in the Project Paintball mentor program. With the support of Where Fathers Grow, the Colorado Cobras are able to reach out to the local communities and use paintball as a unique way to mentor troubled youth. As you may or may not know, paintball is one of the fastest growing action sports today and is considered one of the safest sports as well.

To successfully achieve our future goals, the Colorado Cobras are looking for financial support from individuals and businesses alike to cover costs for paint, equipment, travel, future paintball related events, tournaments and Project Paintball. Currently, we receive very little financial support which leaves us to pay for the majority of the expenses through fundraising and personal contributions.

For 2010, the team has a number of programs, events and tournaments already scheduled. These programs and events will help build Colorado Cobras’ and our sponsor's reputation throughout the state. With the New Year ahead of us as well as the upcoming 2010 paintball season, we are hoping to develop long-term relationships with companies interested in supporting our team. We have a unique opportunity to grow the sport of paintball but through Project Paintball, we hope we will be able to help improve our communities as well.

In return for your support, the team would recognize our sponsors on all media outlets including: promotion of your company through logo placement, event flyers, magazine articles, emails, and any other distribution of promotional materials. We would also commit to providing positive exposure by volunteering our time on behalf of our sponsors.

With our growing reputation and popularity throughout the state, we invite you to support our team in becoming a pioneer and partner in our commitment to the sport of paintball and our communities.

If you have any questions or need information on Project Paintball or would like to receive our promotional package, please feel free to contact our team captain Eric Ahn via: email (ericj@wherefathersgrow.com) or by phone (303.653.8143).

We appreciate your time and consideration.
